KT Professional, in collaboration with the Hair and Beauty Federation, brought India’s salon community together at scale with the Indian Hair and Beauty Conference, held on October 6, 2026 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre. The gathering drew more than 5,000 salon owners and beauty professionals from 18 states and over 50 cities, establishing itself as one of the most significant national gatherings the Indian salon sector has seen in recent years.

The conference was led by Dhruv Sayani, Managing Director and CEO of KT, alongside Ashok Paliwal, President of HBF, and Uday Takke, Vice President of HBF. Their collective effort created a platform that brought together professional development, industry representation, business support, and government recognition under one roof.

The event was inaugurated by Shri Haribhau Bagde, Governor of Rajasthan, while Smt. Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, addressed the gathering as chief guest for the evening session. Their participation acknowledged the salon sector’s contribution to entrepreneurship, employment generation, skill development, and economic growth, while emphasising the importance of supporting Indian enterprises and creating opportunities for homegrown businesses to compete in international markets.

An international dimension was added through the participation of Desmond Murray, an award-winning hair expert visiting India for the first time. His presence offered salon professionals direct access to international perspectives on technical development and evolving salon practices, reflecting the conference’s ambition to connect India’s salon community with global expertise.

The most tangible outcome of the conference was the launch of the KT Support Scheme, through which KT extended INR 25 lakh in direct financial assistance to 250 salons, providing INR 10,000 to each recipient salon. The scheme represented a concrete expression of KT’s commitment to supporting salon businesses beyond professional product supply, recognising salon entrepreneurs as central to the sustainability of India’s beauty services sector. The closing ceremony saw cheques presented by Dhruv Sayani alongside Celina Jaitly, giving the initiative a visible and celebratory moment that underlined its significance for the salon community.

For KT, the Indian Hair and Beauty Conference reinforced its positioning as a brand invested in the long-term health of India’s salon ecosystem. For HBF, the event demonstrated the federation’s ability to convene the salon community at a national level and give the sector a collective voice. Together, the two organisations created a platform that translated the language of industry collaboration into practical outcomes: knowledge shared, connections made, and financial support delivered directly to the salon businesses that drive India’s professional beauty economy.

The participation of salon professionals from 18 states and more than 50 cities made the IHBC’s national ambition visible and real, establishing a benchmark for what industry-led gatherings in the salon sector can achieve when brand investment, federation reach, and government recognition converge around a shared purpose.
