Beauty services and body art are converging in an innovative retail format as Aliens Tattoo teams up with Enrich Salon to launch what is being described as India’s first shop-in-shop tattoo studio. The concept has made its debut at Enrich’s Linking Road salon in Bandra, Mumbai.
Built across 880 sq. ft., the new studio offers dedicated tattoo work areas, private consultation cabins and an in-house team of tattoo artists. Although the salon and tattoo studio operate from the same location, each business will continue to manage its own operations and service offerings independently, allowing clients to access both experiences under one roof.
The partnership comes at a time when tattoos are becoming an increasingly accepted form of personal style and identity. By introducing tattoo services into a premium salon environment, the brands hope to make the process less intimidating for newcomers while continuing to follow rigorous hygiene protocols and a consultation-led approach.
Speaking about the launch, Sunny Bhanushali, Founder of Aliens Tattoo and Tattoo Art School, said Bandra’s vibrant creative culture made it the ideal neighbourhood to introduce the concept. He explained that the initiative is intended to create a space where people can explore self-expression in a welcoming and trusted environment, rather than simply housing a tattoo studio inside a salon.
Vikarm Bhatt, CEO of Enrich Salon, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s long-standing belief that beauty and grooming are deeply personal. According to him, adding tattoo services broadens the salon’s offerings while remaining consistent with Enrich’s emphasis on quality service, customer confidence and individuality.
With this launch, the two brands are introducing a new way for consumers to access beauty and body art, reflecting the growing demand for lifestyle destinations that bring multiple avenues of self-expression together in one convenient space.
