The Delhi NCR programme combines Korean beauty expertise with practical training in skincare, makeup, content creation and career development.
Amorepacific India has launched Meet Your Beauty Academy, an education initiative designed to help young women explore career opportunities in India’s growing beauty industry. Created in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the programme combines beauty education with practical skills, professional exposure and an introduction to the wider beauty business.
The first edition is being held in Delhi NCR, bringing together Korean beauty knowledge and industry-oriented learning. The initiative comes as the beauty sector expands beyond traditional products and services, with digital content, social media and creator-led businesses opening up new avenues for aspiring beauty professionals.
The programme takes a broad approach to beauty education. Participants will learn about Korean beauty culture and industry trends, while also gaining an understanding of skincare ingredients, skin routines and makeup techniques. The curriculum extends into areas such as content creation, social media growth, personal branding and career planning, giving participants an opportunity to understand the different skills increasingly relevant to the modern beauty industry.
Industry interactions and expert-led sessions are another component of the programme. These are intended to give participants a closer understanding of how the beauty sector functions professionally and the opportunities available beyond conventional beauty roles. The academy aims to help young women consider potential careers across areas including beauty retail, brand marketing, content creation and other parts of the broader beauty ecosystem.
The Korean connection is central to the initiative. Korean beauty has developed a strong following among consumers globally, and the academy provides an avenue for participants in India to gain exposure to Korean beauty practices, trends and industry knowledge. By combining this perspective with practical career-oriented education, the programme seeks to create a bridge between international beauty expertise and India’s emerging talent.
Paul Lee, Managing Director and Country Head, Amorepacific India, said the initiative reflects the company’s interest in supporting India’s young and rapidly developing beauty community. He highlighted the opportunity to provide aspiring professionals and creators with education, industry exposure and access to Korean beauty expertise, while describing the collaboration with the Korean government and KOICA as part of a wider commitment to youth empowerment and skills development.
Mini Sood Banerjee, Deputy Director and Head of Marketing at Amorepacific India, pointed to the changing nature of the beauty industry, noting that it now extends into education, digital innovation and community building. She said the academy is intended to create learning opportunities for young beauty enthusiasts and creators while supporting their potential career journeys.
Beyond professional skills, Meet Your Beauty Academy also represents an avenue for India-Korea cultural exchange. Bringing Korean beauty knowledge and educational resources to Indian participants creates an opportunity for greater interaction between the two markets while supporting the ambitions of young people entering the beauty sector.
