The new salon services combine scalp analysis, professional Biolage products and specialised tools to offer targeted care for different hair and scalp concerns.

As awareness around scalp health grows, salon-goers are increasingly looking beyond conventional hair spas for treatments tailored to specific concerns. Responding to this shift, Green Trends, the unisex salon chain from the house of FMCG company CavinKare, has introduced Hair Care Rituals, a new range of professional services developed using Biolage products.

Available at select Green Trends salons, the new offering combines scalp assessment, professional products and specialised salon tools to create more customised hair and scalp treatments. The approach is designed to move away from one-size-fits-all conditioning services and instead address concerns based on an individual’s hair condition and scalp requirements.

A key element of the experience is the use of technology and specialised equipment during the treatment. Green Trends has incorporated tools including a Scalp Camera, which enables closer assessment of the scalp, along with a Korean Hair Spa setup, silicone scrubber and electric massager. These elements are integrated into the rituals to make the treatment more targeted while adding a more immersive dimension to the salon experience.

The new portfolio comprises five treatments, each focused on a distinct hair or scalp concern. The Follicle Fortifying Infusion is designed around scalp care and strengthening, while the Anti-Frizz Ritual focuses on managing unruly hair and improving smoothness. For those dealing with dryness, the Deep Hydration Ritual centres on replenishing moisture and nourishing the hair.

The Colour Last Ritual is aimed at maintaining the appearance and vibrancy of colour-treated hair, addressing a common concern among clients who regularly undergo professional colouring services. Completing the collection is the Rejuvenating Scalp Facial, which incorporates exfoliation and nourishing care to support a cleaner and healthier-feeling scalp.

The move comes as professional beauty services increasingly incorporate personalised consultations and diagnostic tools into treatments. Scalp-focused services, in particular, have gained greater attention as consumers become more aware that healthy-looking hair is closely linked to the condition of the scalp. This has encouraged salons to broaden their offerings beyond styling and surface-level conditioning towards more concern-specific services.

Accessibility is another part of Green Trends’ approach. The Hair Care Rituals are currently priced from ₹799 for men and ₹999 for women under membership pricing, allowing customers to access specialised salon treatments without positioning them exclusively as high-end services.

By combining professional Biolage products with diagnostic tools and treatment-specific techniques, Green Trends is expanding its salon menu to reflect changing consumer expectations around hair maintenance. The focus is on offering clients a more individualised experience, with treatments selected according to concerns such as dryness, frizz, colour maintenance and scalp condition.

The launch adds another dimension to Green Trends’ professional service portfolio and reflects the wider movement towards personalised hair and scalp care in the salon industry. As consumers become more ingredient-aware and increasingly attentive to scalp health, treatment formats that offer targeted care rather than generic hair conditioning are likely to become a more visible part of the professional beauty experience.
