TONI&GUY on a high after winning 4 awards at the BHA’s

TONI&GUY, a name to reckon with in the hairdressing industry, won 4 awards at HJ’S most coveted British Hairdressing Awards sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional. Held at the Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel on London’s Park Lane, the prestigious award ceremony took place on 27th November 2023. Considered as the ‘Oscars’ of the hair world, this award celebrates people producing the very best hairdressing work across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Now in its 39^th year, the award ceremony witnessed a significant presence of 1400 strong audience of hairdressing peers, influencers and press. Among them were the who’s who of the British hairdressing industry. Apart from the international names, Indian hairdressers like Savio John Periera, Srinivasan Subramani Latha Mohan, Spoorthy Shetty, Aalim & Shano Hakim were some of the popular names who graced the event with their presence. Celebrity host, Katherine Ryan was joined by Hairdressers Journal International’s Executive Director, Jayne Lewis-Orr and Julian Crane, General Manager for Henkel Consumer Brands Hair Professional UK & Ireland.

With the endeavour to scout outstanding creative and technical skills from the best stylists in the industry, the entries featured ten regional categories, as well as nine specialist awards honouring work including Afro, Men’s, Session and Newcomer. These were adjudged by 100 leading hairdressers (including celebrity stylists, session stylists, previous winners and Hall of Fame* members). Post the grand awards ceremony, guests were treated to a performance by Björn Again.

Recognized globally since its inception in 1984, the British Hairdressing Awards reward the most credible names in the industry as both finalists and winners.
