After a 11-year stint as the CEO and Wholetime Director of Lakme Lever, Pushkaraj Shenai has decided to move on. As a result-oriented professional, Pushkaraj took the Lakme Lever beauty business to another level and his excellent leadership qualities were for all to see as he oversaw Lakme Salon, Dermalogica and TIGI (in the initial years).
His able leadership and guidance enabled the business to grow multifold, achieving revenues that surpassed the brand’s expectations. With accolades like the Best Salon Chain, Best Franchisor garnered for several years running, Pushkaraj and team spearheaded the salon and beauty business, which currently serves a million customers with a 90%+ NPS in nearly 500 Lakme Salons and propelled Dermalogica as the leading professional prestige skincare brand in India. Under his initiative, the ‘Beautify the Future’ the goal of the leadership team has been successful in training 25000 students every year in the Lakme Academy powered by Aptech.
Concluding his 11-year association with Lakme Lever, Pushkaraj wholeheartedly thanked and appreciated his team’s efforts at Lakme Lever. “It has been a steep business curve for someone who knew nothing about the beauty business and little about leading large teams” he said in his LinkedIn post, which also thanked his HUL management
Prior to Hindustan Unilever, Pushkaraj was associated with Globus and Piramal Realty where he held important leadership roles.
