Mumbai Crime branch has caught Arshad Sheikh for selling expired beauty products after changing its date. All these products were imported from China, Europe, and other countries and were sold in the local markets in Mumbai after changing the manufacturing and best before dates.

Arshad had seven godowns with such products worth Rs 3.28 crore in Goregoan and south Mumbai. The police seized products from brands such as Colour zone, Biowoman Professional Hair Colour, Perfect Cosmetics, Permanent Hair Colour, and Glamer Permanent Hair Colour. They have also raided a shop at Crawford market ceasing cash worth Rs 13 lakhs, two mobile phones, 14 hard disks, and many other items.

The police has caught Yakub Usman, an owner for a beauty store in the same case.
