Looks Salon is celebrating 35 years of being in the salon business with more than 200 salons all over India.
Started in 1989 as a single barber shop in Karol Bagh, New Delhi by Sanjay Dutta, the brand has come a long way, spreading its wings far and wide. In 1992, Sonali Dutta, wife of Sanjay, started the first ladies salon, diversifying the brand and in 2003, it opened the second salon in Defence Colony, New Delhi. It was also one of the first unisex salons in India.
In 2006, Looks added global brand, Kerastase to the Indian market at their Khan Market salon and in 2015, it started the first academy to give back to the beauty and grooming industry. Today, it boasts a varied portfolio with Looks Barber Shop, Looks Privé and Looks Aesthetics and has consistently bettered itself. Another feather in its cap was prestigious Redken in North India, through its Ambience Mall salon, cementing its place as a trendsetter in the beauty and grooming space.
