Ayurveda is India’s ancient field of study that has gained popularity amongst international audiences in recent years. Foreigners are coming to India to seek professional courses to get a holistic approach to wellness and health. The National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur has seen an increasing interest from international students in exploring this ancient technique of healing and taking it back to their respective countries.

According to Vice-Chancellor of The National Institute of Ayurveda, Sanjeev Sharma, the main aim of the course is to teach people about the ancient system of medicine for people to imbibe all over the world. During the course, students not only learn about the principles of Ayurveda, but also understand the cultural and spiritual aspects of it. They learn about personalised herbal treatments and how to lead a balanced lifestyle.

The trend of increasing awareness about Ayurveda among international students has paved way for cultural exchange among different countries. This global movement also ensures students embrace ancient methods of Ayurveda, contributing towards the overall well-being of the individual.
