Nepal’s luxury hospitality sector has welcomed a new entrant – the celebrated Dwarika’s brand has re-imagined its property in Dhulikhel, now known as Dwarika’s Sanctuary, positioning it as a transformative wellness retreat rooted in Himalayan traditions. The 22-acre retreat in Dhulikhel, set against panoramic Himalayan views, has earned a Michelin Key for 2025, an acknowledgment of its thoughtful design, and commitment to responsible luxury.

Beginning January 2026, Dwarika’s Sanctuary will operate on an all-inclusive model with a minimum stay of three nights, a shift designed to facilitate a deeper immersion into its wellness ethos. Guests embark on their journey with a personalised Ayurvedic consultation and engage in daily rituals such as breathwork in a Himalayan salt house, meditation in the Rock Crystal Chamber, maze walks around a Shiva Linga, sound-healing sessions, yoga and nine-planet balancing.

The site features 40 suites crafted in traditional Nepali architecture amid terraced landscapes, blending local craftsmanship and ecological design. Spa treatments at the Pancha Kosha Spa draw from the ancient philosophical idea of five layers of human being. Each guest receives one signature massage per three-night stay.
