Green Trends and Biolage Make Scalp Health a Salon Focus

Biolage has been introduced at 126 Green Trends salons, within the chain’s network of more than 400 outlets across India. The collaboration brings together Biolage’s professional haircare portfolio and Green Trends’ understanding of regional consumers, with the focus on identifying individual scalp and hair needs before deciding on a treatment.

The consultation begins with scalp-camera technology that enables salon professionals to examine a client’s scalp and use the findings to recommend a suitable regimen. Depending on those needs, the salon experience can include Biolage’s BioSpa rituals and targeted scalp exfoliation. The idea is to make the scalp condition part of the consultation.

The partnership is also being introduced through regional preview events across South India, bringing together beauty creators, influencers and media. Guests will be able to experience the treatments and see how a scalp assessment can influence the products and rituals recommended for them.

For Biolage, the collaboration builds on more than 30 years in professional haircare. The brand’s approach combines nature-inspired ingredients with scientific expertise and has established it among hairdressers and salon professionals worldwide.

Green Trends contributes a network of more than 400 salons and decades of experience in professional styling. Its presence across India, along with its understanding of the varied beauty preferences of South Indian consumers, gives Biolage a larger salon platform for its hair and scalp services.

According to Amrita Sundareswaran, General Manager, Biolage India, the partnership is intended to make the brand’s professional haircare services available to a wider audience while strengthening the salon experience. She also highlighted the companies’ shared focus on premium services and beauty practices that take environmental considerations into account.

What makes the collaboration notable is its emphasis on what happens before the treatment itself. By using scalp assessment to inform the consultation, the two brands are making diagnosis part of the salon conversation and giving professionals another way to move from a standard service towards care tailored to the individual.
