The conversation around wellness is expanding beyond fitness and nutrition, with growing attention now turning to longevity, the science of helping people live healthier for longer. Reflecting this shift, Fairmont Mumbai and Le Florence India will host Longevity Summit India 2026: India Vows for Longevity on 15 and 16 August, bringing together experts from healthcare, science, technology and wellness. It will be India’s first conference dedicated exclusively to the subject.

The two-day event will examine how advances in preventive medicine, biotechnology, biohacking and personalised healthcare are reshaping approaches to healthy ageing. Researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, investors and wellness professionals are expected to participate in discussions on emerging scientific developments, innovation and future opportunities in the longevity ecosystem.

For Fairmont Mumbai, the summit builds on its growing emphasis on wellness-led hospitality. The hotel has introduced dedicated longevity-focused facilities through Fairmont Spa & Longevity and Blu Xone, integrating therapeutic treatments, preventive health services and customized wellness programmes within its guest experience.

Rajiv Kapoor, General Manager of Fairmont Mumbai, said the summit reflects the hotel’s ambition to create meaningful conversations around long-term wellbeing by connecting hospitality with scientific knowledge and global expertise.

The initiative is being organised in collaboration with Le Florence India, whose Managing Director, Vikramjeet Sharma, said the platform has been conceived as an ongoing initiative that encourages collaboration across disciplines while supporting innovation in preventive health and longevity.

The conference agenda is being led by Dr Arpit Bansal, who serves as Chief Scientific Curator. According to Dr Bansal, the programme has been designed to encourage evidence-based discussions among specialists from diverse fields, while highlighting India’s potential to contribute to global research and innovation in longevity science.

Further details on speakers, sessions and partner organisations are expected to be announced ahead of the event.
