Tip and Toe Salon has entered the specialised beauty-bar segment with the launch of YBE Nails Lashes Brows, a salon format dedicated exclusively to nail, lash and brow services. The concept debuts with its first outlet in Chennai and is positioned to sit between high-end salons and unorganised low-cost providers, offering professional services at accessible price points through a compact, design-led model aimed at urban youth. This spot is specially designed to target the new age, GenZ crowd.
Spread across 400 square feet, the outlet has four nail stations, three pedicure loungers, and a separate zone for lash and brow treatments. A digital-first system supports bookings and cashless payments, including UPI and cards. Interiors follow a restrained, contemporary aesthetic built around neutral tones and chrome accents, while prioritising efficiency over excess. Service is what sets them apart with every treatment completed within an hour, a format designed to appeal to students and working professionals seeking quality treatments without extended waiting periods.
YBE’s menu is divided across nails, lashes and brows. Nail services include gel-based applications such as Cat Eye finishes, detailed nail art, Gel X systems, and standard manicure-pedicure offerings. Lash treatments span classic, hybrid and volume extensions, along with lash lifting, while the brow bar provides shaping, tinting and lamination. Several of these services, particularly Gel X systems and advanced brow and lash treatments are still limited in availability within standalone salons in Chennai, positioning YBE as an early organised entrant in this category.
According to the company, all techniques are adapted from international markets and delivered by teams trained under Tip and Toe’s senior professionals, with experienced technicians overseeing quality control. Pricing has been calibrated to bridge premium and budget segments, with introductory offers rolled out during the launch phase.
Chennai was selected for the pilot due to its growing base of young professionals, students and content creators, as well as a relative lack of specialised beauty-bar formats. The brand has been structured as a franchise-ready concept, with expansion planned across major metros including Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, followed by entry into select Tier 2 markets.
