Wella Professionals, the world’s leading salon colour brand, hosted the grand finale of its highly anticipated TrendVision India 2024-25 competition. The prestigious event, held at the Andaz, New Delhi brought together 21 of India’s most exceptional hair stylists for an electrifying showcase of their artistic prowess. The evening was a testament to Wella’s 140+ year legacy of pushing boundaries and celebrating the transformative power of hair.
The theme for this year’s TrendVision India was “Golden Hour” which drew inspiration from the captivating warmth and radiance of photography’s most flattering light. This artistic direction served as a fertile ground for the competing stylists, who unleashed a torrent of creativity that surpassed all expectations. Each meticulously crafted look was a masterpiece, demonstrating an extraordinary level of skill and fearless experimentation. The transformations that unfolded on stage left the esteemed panel of judges, including Wella Global Ambassador Alexis Ferrer, Bollywood actress Manushi Chhillar, renowned beauty editor Nandini Bhalla, and trail blazing hair expert Adhuna Bhabani impressed.
The winners of TrendVision India 2024-25 were announced. Lalruattluanga from Mapui Salon (Shillong) was crowned the Color Visionary winner while Ravi Raj Joiya (Mumbai) secured the runner-up position, demonstrating exceptional mastery in color. The Craft Visionary title was awarded to Khushal Mali from Roots Makeover (Udaipur) as the winner, with Sapna Alay from Vurve Salon (Bangalore) as the runner-up, recognizing their outstanding skill in cutting and styling. In the Academy Star category, which highlights emerging talent, Netra Vilas from BBlunt Academy (Mumbai) was crowned the winner, while Nidhi from Orane Academy (Chandigarh) secured the runner-up position.
Beyond the coveted titles, the winners have also earned invaluable opportunities. The Color and Craft Visionaries will represent India at Wella’s Global Destination Event, where they will gain exclusive access to a masterclass led by Wella Global Ambassador Alexis Ferrer. This global platform will undoubtedly further hone their skills and expose them to international trends. The Academy Star winners will benefit from an exclusive training internship opportunity with Wella India, providing them with a strong foundation for their burgeoning careers.
