Michaela Coel – Bright and Bling
Michaela was a big winner at the Emmys 2021 as she won an award for ‘I May Destroy You’ and her fashion quotient was on point. Wearing a striking neon yellow two-piece by Christopher John Rogers, her attire was teamed with matching pointed pumps and elegant pearl and stone jewellery.
The eternally striking Michaela kept her makeup sleek with all the focus on the eyes. Strong brows, bright yellow eyeshadow complementing her gown and the black winged liner made them the highlight. Well defined mauve cheeks and nude glossy lips. Her cropped mane let her bold look a stand out.
Anya Taylor-Joy – Vintage Hollywood Glamour
Anya Taylor-Joy of ‘Queen’s Gambit’ fame brought back the vintage Hollywood glamour as she walked down the red carpet in a backless pale-yellow Dior gown with a dramatic yellow cape as a train and sparkling Tiffany & Co jewellery. Her platinum-blonde hair was parted at the center and styled in a dramatic updo. With bright red lipstick and dramatic long black lashes, she was a showstopper. .
Elizabeth Olsen – Chic and Classy
‘WandaVision’ star Elizabeth Olsen exuded elegance in an elegant pared-back cream ensemble by the exclusive, minimalist fashion label ‘The Row’. Doing away with her long tresses, she wowed the audiences in a blunt bob. The deeply parted lob reached between her chin and shoulders. Her hair was kept slightly wavy, with one side tucked behind the ear that let her flaunt her stunning chandelier earring.
The elegant hair was matched perfectly with a classic, subtle makeup by MUA Pati Dubroff who used earthy tones from Chanel to doll her up. Elizabeth flaunted a muted brownish berry lip that matched the rust-toned eye shadow beautifully.
Yara Shahidi – Return of the Retro style
Yara Shahidi looked every bit a retro glam doll from Hollywood in a green off-shoulder gown from Dior. She paired the flared gown withbrown pumps and eyecatching jewellery from Cartier. Her hair was styled with a middle parting into a chic modern chignon by Unilever Global Stylist & Celebrity Hair Artist Lacy Redway . Yara’s makeup had a contoured beat with dark green eyeliner to complement her attire and a Rosewood lip shade to add a hint of colour to her lips.
