Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant celebrated their mehendi ceremony on July 9 at the Ambani residence, Antilia in Mumbai. Bollywood A-listers like Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Manushi Chhillar, Arjun Kapoor, Boney Kapoor among others were the first celebrities at the glamorous celebration.

Here’s a closer look at what the couple and the celebrity attendees wore for the mehendi ceremony.

Janhvi Kapoor

Styled by Ami Patel, Janhvi opted for an Anamika Khanna-designed multicolored lehenga. Her glam team included her hair stylist Marce Pedrozo and makeup artist Savleen Kaur Manchanda. She flaunted nude makeup, and light pink coloured lipstick, and accentuated bold eyes with long lashes. Janhvi opted for a sleek bun with a multicolored floral gajra with a mid-hair partition.

Ananya Panday

Ananya Panday was spotted wearing a purple coloured lehenga. Her glam team included her stylist Priyanka Kapadia Badani, and Naheed Driver. She wore nude makeup and light pink coloured lipstick. Ananya opted for a mid-hair partition followed by straight hair.

Shanaya Kapoor

Shanaya Kapoor chose an Anita Dongre customized light pink kurta set with an embellished neckline. Her glam team included stylist Tanya Ghavri, makeup stylist Shraddha Naik, and hair stylist Poonam Solanki. She opted for nude makeup, highlighted by glossy pink lips, rose-pink eyelids, and kohl-lined eyes. Additionally, she chose a sleek flower adorned bun with a mid-hair partition.

Isha Ambani Piramal

Isha Ambani Piramal was seen wearing a green Anuradha Vakil lehenga for the mehendi and garba celebrations. Her jewelry was from Birdhichand Ghanshyamadas. Bold eyebrows, dark eyes, nude pink lips, and clean makeup completed her look. She opted for a mid-hair partition with a traditional braid or veni along with mogra gajra, known as a ‘South Indian jada phool’. She topped it up with traditional South Indian hair jewelry. 

The couple’s pre-wedding rituals commenced with a puja ceremony at the Ambanis’ Mumbai residence, Antilia. The ‘mameru’ ceremony, an event that signifies the blessings and well-wishes bestowed upon the couple by the groom’s maternal family was held on July 3.

Radhika and Anant are all set to get married at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. Spanning over three days, the wedding features three events – ‘Shubh Vivaah’ on July 12, followed by ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangal Utsav’ or the wedding reception on July 14.
