The opening of the 25th branch of Shiva’s Hair Designers marked a proud moment in the hairstyling world. The new luxury salon and lounge, Shiva’s Signature Salon, was unveiled at Neel Shobha Housing Society in Gundavali, Andheri East. The event was graced by Padma Shri awardee and acclaimed filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who commended the vision and dedication of Shivaram Bhandary, the driving force behind the brand.
Bhandarkar recognised Shivaram’s exceptional talent and foresight from an early age, applauding his unwavering commitment that has propelled the brand’s expansion across Mumbai. He expressed hopes for the salon’s growth throughout the country and highlighted Shivaram’s humble demeanour and strong client relationships as key factors in his success.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by notable personalities, including Bollywood actress Ihana Dhillon, former Mumbai South Central MP Rahul R Shewale, and leaders from the Bhandary community. Dr. Shivaram Krishna Bhandary, a renowned celebrity hairstylist from Karkala and the salon’s founder, along with his wife Anushree and daughter Aradhya, commenced the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp before their family deity, Shri Kachuru Nageshwara Deva. They also paid tribute to the late family matriarch, Gulabi K Bhandary, and conducted traditional puja rituals.
The Vastu and Satyanarayana pujas were followed by sacred offerings distributed to all guests. The celebrations were attended by several industry luminaries and well-wishers. The company’s CEO, Dr. Vinod Chopra, welcomed the dignitaries and honoured them during the celebration, marking a grand chapter in Shiva’s Hair Designers’ journey.
