The 2024 edition of Cosmoprof India, held from December 5 to 7 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, marked a resounding success. The event, organized by BolognaFiere Group and Informa Markets in India, witnessed impressive growth across all metrics, solidifying its position as the premier platform for the Indian beauty industry.
This year’s edition saw a significant rise in attendance, with 11,124 stakeholders participating, reflecting a 27% increase compared to 2023. Visitors hailed from across India and various international locations, including UAE, Nepal, Sri Lanka, USA, Russia, and more. This influx highlights the event’s growing global appeal.
The exhibition floor buzzed with activity as 345 exhibitors’ showcased products from over 700 brands – a 55% increase compared to the previous year. Notably, 57% of these exhibitors were international including a good representation from Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific.
The exhibition space expanded to 20,252 sq. m., a 68% increase from 2023 providing ample space for the exhibitors and attendees to network and forge new connections.A key focus of Cosmoprof India 2024 was facilitating business interactions via Match-making programs with dedicated international promotion initiatives playing a crucial role in achieving this. Furthermore, over 200 senior executives and leading buyers from various countries participated in exclusive B2B match-making tools, solidifying Cosmoprof India’s role as a premier platform for industry leaders to connect and conduct business.
Beyond the exhibition itself, Cosmoprof India hosted 16 well attended educational sessions of CosmoTalks and CosmoForum where renowned trend agencies – Asia Cosme Labs, BEAUTYSTREAMS, and WGSN presented valuable insights alongside Indian industry leaders.
Of note in this edition was the launch of ONE SHOT BY ON HAIR and the World Massage Meeting. These events provided valuable learning and networking opportunities for professionals in the beauty industry.
