Sassoon plans to open a new space, ‘House Of Sassoon’ at 16-17 Greek Street, Soho, London. The new space is a salon/academy/studio with a dedicated ambassador programme and an exclusive members club.

Spread across five floors, the building exudes elegance. The ground floor has a spacious reception area with a retail space that has a wide range of professional tools and education material. The salon  is also on the ground floor. The decor is minimalist with contemporary styling and clean lines that is part of Sassoon’s philosophy. It uses a simple palette of colours and has an energetic vibe.

The salon is connected to a state-of-the-art multimedia theatre space for about 120 people and will be used for hosting fashion and hair shows. It has enough space to house 20 professionals and 20 diploma students to work in an open environment. The ground floor aims to also have staff training programme where students will be trained to work at Sassoon salons all over the world.

The other floors will be used in an innovative style. On the first floor, there are two well-designed classrooms with a private decking space. One of them will have the beginner Diploma course and the other one will be used by Sassoon members to work on a freelance basis. There will be two more classrooms on the second and third floor, one for the beginners diploma students and the other for short-duration advanced education students. The fourth floor has been kept as an open plan office space for Academy and Salon administration.

According to Debbie Webster, Global Sassoon CEO, The House of Sassoon, gives the brand a creative space for an enthusiastic Sassoon community where students and experienced professionals can work and learn in a cohesive environment. The brand is investing £10 million in this venture, which is slated to open in late spring/summer 2023 in both London and Beverly Hills, CA.
