Procter & Gamble (P&G) has officially opened a Beauty & Grooming Salon in the heart of the Olympic and Paralympic Village Plaza in Paris, just two weeks before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024. The salon will offer athletes and their staff accessible and inclusive haircare, grooming, and nail treatments using products from P&G brands such as Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Mielle, Gillette, and Braun.
This salon will be operated by the French stylist Raphaël Perrier and his team of expert stylists, known for their technical mastery and long-standing heritage in premium hairdressing. It will be open from 9 am to 9 pm daily from July 18 to August 13 for the Olympic Games and August 23 to September 10 for the Paralympic Games.
P&G has also unveiled a Look Book featuring 20 complimentary styles inspired by the athleticism and triumph of the Games. The styles include Parisian Pony from Pantene, Champion Curl from Mielle, Sprint Finish from Head & Shoulders, Boss Beard from Braun, and Game Face from Gillette. Athletes will have the opportunity to choose from these styles during their stay at the Olympic and Paralympic Village.
In addition to the Beauty & Grooming Salon, P&G will provide a range of products and services across the Olympic and Paralympic Village. These include a Nursery with Pampers, Dental Clinic with Oral-B, Laundry Rooms supplied by Ariel, and complimentary period protection products in bathrooms throughout the village. P&G will also provide welcome kits to all athletes.
Raphaël Perrier expressed his excitement to be part of this prestigious event, stating that it is an “immense honor” to bring his expertise to serve athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. He added that he is proud to work with P&G’s brands to offer athletes a moment of well-being and styles that will help them show up with confidence on the field.
The Beauty & Grooming Salon is a unique offering that demonstrates P&G’s commitment to supporting athletes’ overall well-being and confidence during their stay at the Olympic and Paralympic Village. Earlier in May, P&G announced to launch more than 30 brand campaigns for the the Olympic and Paralympic Games along with offering products to athletes for the event in Paris in 2024. It planned to link its products with high performance as required for the Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
