South India based salon chain Naturals has launched Star Secrets, a line of skin, hair, and nail care services. Star Secrets aims to provide services which are not normally provided in salons, such as hair extensions, lash extensions, brow tinting, and reflexology. The launch event in Phoenix Mall, Chennai, was a star-studded affair, attended by celebrities Nikki Galrani, Nisha Marimuthu, Athul Yaravi, Sunil Reddy, and Vaibhav Reddy among others.
“The journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step,” writes C.K. Kumaravel, founder of Naturals Salon, on his Facebook. “We inaugurated our first aesthetic clinic ‘Star Secrets’ in Phoenix mall by a bevy of celebrities. Indian consumer is evolving and asserting simultaneously. To cater to this unique scenario, brands need to offer something new without compromising on its core values. That’s why we have kept Naturals as such and came out with a new brand ‘Star Secrets’ which will do everything a normal salon will not do.”
Star Secrets inaugurated its first location in Phoenix Market City Mall, Chennai. Sharing space with Nails n Beyond, the store takes up 1400 sq. ft. on the ground floor of the mall. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and a song and dance number by brand ambassador Iyki Berry highlighted the inauguration ceremony of the store.
With over 600 stores across India, Naturals Salon is one of the largest and most rapidly expanding salon chains in India. Their efforts to diversify their services with Star Secrets are accompanied by targets to expand the chain even further in the years to come.
