Mac Cosmetics, a well-known global brand focused towards makeup, is the latest entrant to step into the skincare segment. The brand is all set to launch its new skincare line called ‘Hyper Real’ in February 2023.
Featuring a hybrid serum-moisturiser product or serumiser, a moisturising cream, cleansing oil and serum and moisturiser brush, the range is targeted towards enhancing skincare.
The Hyper Real Serumiser is a gel like product that can be used without or with makeup as well. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, Japanese peony extract and niacinamide, the serumizer will target major skin concerns and provide relief instantly.
The range will be available for purchase at over 1,500 Mac stores worldwide as well as online. Currently, Mac Cosmetics retails through Shoppers Stop and Sephora in India. Owned by The Estée Lauder Companies, the brand’s debut into the skincare segment is aimed at establishing its presence in the country.
This is not Mac Cosmetics’ first skincare venture. The brand already has a Prep and Prime series including a primer, finishing powder and setting spray, a Lightful C3 range of cleansers and micellar water predominantly sold in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to the launch in India, an event featuring artists, media and influencers will be held this month in Los Angeles. Media can take advantage of this event to try, learn about the new product range. In addition, the brand will also train and educate makeup artists on various facets of skincare.
