Lush launches a new mascara without any packaging material. This reduces its carbon footprint and makes it more sustainable. The new Naked Mascara comes without the usual plastic tube. It is in the form of a cylinder of the product itself. One can use the product by dipping the brush in the tube and then applying it on the lashes. After using, rinse out the brush and let it dry. The brush is made with a 100% bio-based material. It can be recycled at home or given to Lush for the same.
The all new mascara is infused with organic cocoa butter that conditions the lashes, while cupuaçu and Illipe butters keep them soft. Japan wax adds definition, while rice bran and candelilla wax distribute the colour evenly. Similarly, Carnauba wax adds to the length of the lashes.
The mascara is priced at $14 and comes in four shades, including Reef (coral), Orca (black), Earth (brown), and Ocean (blue).
