Kimirica Hunter, an Indore-based start-up is a global name today. It is the largest manufacturer of hotel bath supplies, with more than 1500 hotels in over 22 countries using its products. With a yearly turnover of Rs. 200 crore, Kimirica is now increasing its online and offline presence. It has got a go ahead from online portals like Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, Myntra, amongst others. It also has tie-ups with offline marketplaces like Shopper’s Stop and Nykaa.
The Kimirica story began in 2012 when people bought luxury-care products for travel as hotels in India would not offer the same. The founders of Kimirica decided to bridge this gap and came up with an Indian brand that uses safe, effective, and natural ingredients that are sustainable.
According to Mohit Jain, Co-founder and CEO, Kimirica Hunter International and Kimirica Lifestyle, the brand positioned itself as a direct-to-consumer venture in 2019 to leverage the customer demand for effective and safe ingredients that are sustainable. Ever since then, it has been focusing on customer preferences and tweaking its offerings accordingly. It has always focused on sustainability, luxury self-care experiences, and use of natural ingredients and that has helped it build a strong customer following.
Today, Kimirica offers a myriad plant-based skincare products. It has home and wellness products too, including, 100% vegan-soy candles. It uses technological innovation for its products, blending natural plant-based ingredients with scientific technology to offer ultimate healing and exquisite performance.
In the future, it plans to expand the men’s care range and open more than 100 stores. It intends to use its omnichannel strategy to cement itself as a vegan, eco-friendly and ethical brand offering luxury self-care by 2028.
