Chanel has launched a new collection named No. 1 De Chanel which goes beyond a perfume launch to comprise of skincare and makeup too, with a contemporary focus on sustainability. The collection features 10 new products ranging from serums, cleansers, eye creams, foundations and more. Chanel has implemented a series of environmental-friendly changes throughout the manufacturing process. The weight of the jars and bottles has been lowered, 80 percent of the product packaging in the line is made of glass, and the use of plastics is curtailed. The range includes red camellia flower actives which fight indications of ageing, promotes skin vitality, and protect against environmental aggressors.
