Digital marketplace connects consumers with 2,000+ premium salons, spas and clinics as it targets India’s largely offline beauty services sector

Beauty and wellness marketplace LUZO is accelerating its growth after securing ₹1 crore in funding from entrepreneurs Kunal Bahl and Viraj Bahl during Season 5 of Shark Tank India, a move that signals growing investor interest in the digitisation of India’s beauty services industry.

Founded in 2021 by Anurav Dave, LUZO operates as a curated digital marketplace that allows consumers to discover, book, reschedule and pay for services at premium salons, spas and wellness clinics through a seamless mobile platform.

Digitizing a Largely Offline Sector

India’s beauty and wellness industry employs millions and remains predominantly offline, with most bookings still handled through phone calls or walk-ins. LUZO aims to change that by offering a digital infrastructure that simplifies appointment discovery and management while also providing exclusive offers for users.

The platform is designed to make premium services more accessible to consumers while helping businesses manage appointments, increase utilisation and address the operational challenges of a high fixed-cost model.

“We weren’t just pitching a product; we were pitching a vision,” said Dave. “Beauty and wellness is not just a luxury—it’s a language of confidence and self-expression. Our mission is to make that language accessible to every Indian while helping salons and clinics thrive in a new digital era.”

Expanding Partner Network

LUZO currently connects users with more than 2,000 premium brands across India’s beauty and wellness ecosystem. These include leading salon chains and wellness providers such as Enrich, Lakmé Salon, Looks Salon, BBLUNT, Toni & Guy, Naturals Salon, Tattva Spa, Kosmoderma and Bodycraft.

The company is also expanding its portfolio to include aesthetic clinics and specialised wellness destinations as it scales the platform nationwide.
