The regional round of The Skin Expert of India 2026 drew around 1,800 entries, highlighting the growing focus on technical skills in professional skincare.

For skincare professionals, technical knowledge and hands-on expertise are increasingly important markers of the craft. Raaga Professional’s North Regional Round of The Skin Expert of India 2026 brought these skills into focus, giving professionals from across North India an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities and compete for industry recognition.

The regional round received around 1,800 entries from skincare professionals across North India, reflecting the participation in platforms that assess practical expertise alongside technical understanding. The initiative is designed not only as a competition but also as a space where professionals can assess their skills, learn through the process and gain greater visibility within the professional beauty industry.

Among the top winners were Gambhir Singh from Lucknow, Divya from Delhi and Tanya Aneja from Delhi, along with other zonal winners from across the region.

The competition evaluates professionals on their understanding of professional skincare as well as their ability to apply that knowledge in practice. The format also gives participants a way to assess their capabilities against a professional standard while gaining exposure to the wider beauty industry.

Ashrit Pattanaik, Business Head, Raaga Professional, CavinKare, said the initiative was intended to recognise the combination of knowledge, technique and practical experience that underpins professional skincare. He noted that the response from North India, with around 1,800 entries, demonstrated the enthusiasm and talent within the region’s professional beauty community.

The North Regional Round was evaluated under the guidance of Richa Agarwal, Chief Expert of The Skin Expert of India, bringing professional expertise into the assessment process.

The initiative also builds on Raaga Professional’s longer focus on education within the salon industry. The brand has spent more than 12 years conducting hands-on, in-salon education, reaching lakhs of beauty professionals across India.

With The Skin Expert of India, the brand is extending that emphasis on education and skill development into a platform that also recognises professional expertise. By giving skincare professionals an opportunity to demonstrate what they know and how they apply it, the initiative aims to bring greater visibility to their role within the professional beauty industry.
