The professional haircare brand worked with all 52 contestants during the three-month competition and presented two awards at the Jaipur finale.
For the Miss Universe India 2026 contestants, hair preparation was part of the routine well before the final night. KT Professional, an Indian-born professional haircare brand, joined the competition as its Official Hair Expert Partner, working with contestants through the three-month pageant journey.
The brand’s 6X Keratin Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner became part of the haircare and styling regimen followed by all 52 contestants as they prepared for photoshoots, media interactions, appearances and the competition. The range is designed to support stronger-looking hair while adding shine and smoothness, improving gloss and helping with frizz control.
The partnership came full circle at the finale in Jaipur, where Dhruv Sayani, MD & CEO, KT Life, presented the winner’s award to Kaziah Liz Mejo of Kerala, who won the Miss Universe India 2026 title.
KT Professional was also behind the “Best Miss Headshot” award, which went to Tejaswini Shrivastava. The award recognised her hair strength and quality, as well as how it complemented her overall appearance.
The brand extended its presence at the event beyond its work with the contestants. More than 300 curated hampers were given out during the competition, reaching contestants, judges, selected press conference attendees, the international hairstylist and VIP guests.
The partnership also found an audience online. Contestants shared Instagram Stories and Reels featuring the 6X Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner, creating organic product visibility through their own pageant content. KT Professional also referenced posts from contestants participating in the previous edition, continuing the conversation around their experience with the product range.
For Sayani, the collaboration reflected the importance of hair in the way contestants communicate their personality and confidence during a competition of this scale. He said the partnership allowed KT Professional to work across different parts of the Miss Universe India ecosystem, from contestants and judges to the international hairstylist, press and VIP guests.
The association adds another dimension to KT Professional’s expansion beyond its salon-oriented roots. By participating in a major beauty competition, the brand has placed its professional haircare offering in a setting where hair health, styling and appearance are central to a contestant’s presentation.
Its involvement also went beyond a one-night brand presence. With the product incorporated into the contestants’ routines over three months, followed by the awards and social media activity around the finale, KT Professional remained part of the pageant journey from preparation to the final stage.
For the brand, the Miss Universe India 2026 partnership marks another step in taking its salon-inspired haircare proposition to wider beauty audiences while building associations with professional expertise, styling and hair confidence.
