Varun Attri, a Delhi-based salon entrepreneur, is expanding his presence in the organised beauty services space through new outlet launches and investments in professional training. Attri began his career in hairstyling in a residential part of Delhi, where he focused on developing technical expertise before scaling operations. Over the past decade, he has grown his business from a single local setup into a multi-location salon operation serving customers across different parts of the National Capital Region.

One of the company’s early expansions included a flagship outlet in Gurugram, which marked a shift towards higher-end grooming services. The outlet combined curated interiors, international product lines and structured consultation processes, helping the brand establish a distinct position in the region’s competitive salon market. The business is now preparing to open a new location in Kamala Nagar, North Delhi. The area is known for its student population and fashion-focused consumer base. The expansion is intended to extend the brand’s reach beyond premium commercial districts and strengthen its footprint in high-density urban neighbourhoods.

Alongside physical expansion, Attri has also focused on workforce development through his  training academy aimed at grooming aspiring hairstylists and salon professionals. The programme covers technical skills as well as customer handling and operational practices required in an organised salon environment.

In addition to commercial training, Attri has partnered with non-profit organisations to support vocational education initiatives. These programmes are designed to provide skill development opportunities to individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to pursue careers in the beauty services sector.

Attri’s expansion plans come at a time when demand for professionally managed salons is increasing, driven by changing consumer expectations around service quality, hygiene standards and structured experiences. His business model combines outlet growth with skill development, positioning the company as a strong player in urban markets.
