    1. Chemical peels

This cosmetic treatment improves the appearance and feel of the skin. They are used on the face, neck and also hands. During this treatment, chemical solutions are applied which helps to exfoliate the skin and finally peel it off. At the end of the treatment, the new skin underneath is softer with lesser damage and reduced appearance of wrinkles.

Chemical peels are of three different types:

      • Superficial peels– These only penetrate the outermost layer of the skin using mild acids like alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) for gentle exfoliation.
      • Medium peels– These make use of trichloroacetic or glycolic acid to penetrate the middle and outer layers of the skin to remove damaged skin cells.
      • Deep peels– These peels make use of phenol or carbolic acids to completely penetrate the middle layer of the skin to get rid of damaged skin. Carbolic acid is frequently combined with salicylic acid.

    1. Oxygen facials

Oxygen facials improve facial blood circulation which helps to calm acne, treat uneven skin tone and make the skin appear brighter and plump.

Oxygen accelerates wound healing and kills certain bacteria. During the treatment, face is first cleansed and exfoliated, then a stream of high pressurized oxygen is delivered to the skin surface using a wand. Serums containing hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamins, and botanical extracts are applied on the face either with the wand or after the oxygen has been delivered.
The results last for upto 6 days.

    2. Broad Band Light (BBL)

This 15 minutes treatment uses intense pulsed light to treat age spots, sun damage, redness, broken facial vessels, wrinkles, dull skin and reduces the appearance of freckles and birthmarks on all parts of the body.

During this treatment, the skin is cleansed, and a clear gel is applied on the area of treatment. The BBL device passes a series of light flashes which penetrates the skin to repair the damage of the skin, and reduce discoloration and wrinkles. After the treatment, the skin is cooled and sunscreen is applied.

    1. Hydra Facial

This treatment improves skin texture, tone, and appearance. The deep exfoliation cleans the pores, removes debris which allow better penetration of face serums.

    1. Photo Facial

This treatment makes use of different types of light emitting devices to treat skin discoloration, and reduce the appearance of blemishes, wrinkles, large pores and acne scars. The treatment takes 30 to 90 minutes depending on the type of photo facial and the skin.
There are two types of photo facials:

      • IPL photo facials– A handheld device emits pulsed light therapy penetrates the deeper layers of the skin and treats broken capillaries, sun damage, and other impurities.
      • LED photo facials– A handheld device or lamp emits various colours of LED light to the skin. Influenced by the colour of the light, blue light kills acne-causing bacteria and red light treats fine lines, wrinkles by stimulating collagen production.
    2. Microdermabrasion

This minimally invasive procedure renews overall skin tone and reduces sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, etc.

In another kind of microdermabrasion treatment, fine particles of aluminium oxide or sodium bicarbonate are sprayed while creating a suction that gives the same outcome as the abrasive surface.

  1. Derma Rollers

This micro-needling cosmetic treatment makes use of thousands of tiny needles that are inserted into the surface of the skin with the help of either a rolling or stamping device. Derma-rolling creates microscopic wounds on the skin which induce collagen and elastin production. With regular use, it reduces the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.

  2. Gua Sha Massage

In Chinese, Gua means ‘scrape’ and Sha means ‘little, flat red or purple spots’. This treatment stimulates microcirculation of the soft tissue which improves blood circulation by scraping with short or long strokes using a Gua massage tool. During this treatment, massage oil is applied on the skin and the skin is scraped in a downward motion using the Gua tool. It is performed on the back, buttocks, neck, arms, legs and the gentle version of the same is used as a facial technique on the face.
