The mecca of awards nights for Indian movies- Filmfare was held in February and like always the who’s who of tinsel town paraded the red carpet in their ravishing best. From voluminous chiffon gowns and long trains to chic hairstyles and dramatic makeup, the divas graced the night in their elegant avatar. The men weren’t far behind, either. They looked dapper in tailored suits and tuxedos while some made a huge statement in their quirky outfits. Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt stunned the audience with her performance in Gully Boy bagging the Best Actor in a female role. But her ensemble for the evening was the talk of the town too. Dressed in a strapless, pink, and yellow flowy satin gown, she looked simply gorgeous. With no accessories and gelled, set back hair left open, she surely won all the awards in the looks department too.

Huge earrings from Sapna Mehta and black stilettos completed her applause-worthy look!

Bhumi Pednekar

Another fashionista, who has been serving serious fashion goals on the red carpet is the Bala actor, Bhumi Pednekar. Not only has she done justice to her acting career, bagging an award at the Filmfare this year, but also pleased her fans with her fashion sense. Looking stunning in a red, multilayered, strapless gown by Gaby Charbachy, Bhumi made heads turn as she walked down the hallowed halls of Filmfare. Sans accessories, she nailed her look with her girl next door hair.

Tapsee Pannu

Known for her strong characters in the movies, Tapsee, showed off the same vibe at the Filmfare this year. Dressed in a single shoulder multicoloured outfit with psychedelic flair, she looked like a fierce butterfly. Her dramatic makeup, long black earrings, and messy hair bun added to the look.

Radhika Apte

After having wowed the audiences with her performance in Andhadhun, Radhika Apte, got them spell-bound with her look at the Filmfare. Donning a multicoloured gown with a pair of silver danglers, and hair tied in a neat bun, Radhika looked effortlessly gorgeous.

Madhuri Dixit

The timeless beauty, Madhuri Dixit, looked elegant and ethereal as always in a rose gold body-hugging off-shoulder gown that glittered from top to toe. Her 100-watt smile and stunning neck-piece and earrings completed the effortless charm she has always.

Uravashi Rautela

Exuding charm in a sizzling red tulle attire with a red strapless corset was Urvashi Rautela from the Great Grand Masti fame. She enhanced her look with dangling diamond earrings and perfectly made hair.

All white ensembles

The angelic look in all-white was a big hit at Filmfare 2020 with Pooja Hegde, sauntering at the awards in a white open back, halter neck, deep plunge gown with a daring high slit. She kept the accessories simple and paired them with silver peep-toes. Her glam makeup complimented the look to the hilt. Veering away from bold colours, TV superstar, Mouni Roy, went in for an elegant white, off-shoulder gown by Karleo with a crystal-embellished tulle train. Her hair was made up in soft beach waves, adding to her diva look for the grand night at Bollywood.

The Boys Brigade

The men of B-town also put their best fashion foot forward as they hit the red carpet looking dapper. From formal suits to shimmery gold pants futuristic sunglasses, and embellished shoes- the favorite Bollywood night saw it all.

Ranveer Singh looked smart as usual in a stylish black suit with embellished shoulder pads and a white shirt in contrast. He topped the look with black sunglasses, gelled hair, puffed hairdo, shimmery black shoes, and of course, his cool-dude attitude.

Varun Dhawan kept it classy looking deadly gorgeous in a blue velvet blazer teamed up subtly with a white shirt. Vicky Kaushal was the gentleman from Uri, setting the stage ablaze in a white jacket and a pair of black trousers. A black bow-tie completed this suave look.

Adding a little quirkiness this Filmfare was the latest heartthrob, Kartik Aaryan, in a grey suit matched with a pair of comfy black and white sneakers. Siddhant Chaturvedi, the Gully Boy rapper, added a metallic glint to his ensemble with gold foil printed trousers that he teamed up with a black shirt and blazer.
