The annual Cannes Film Festival may be about showcasing the world’s best film talents but it is certainly also the festival that gives us fantastic hair and makeup looks. Like every year, Cannes 2023 also gave us some glamorous hair and makeup looks which were slayed by celebrities that attended this festival.

Here are the 5 best hair and makeup looks spotted at Cannes 2023:

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell wore a silver sequinned Celine gown. Her long straightened  and highlighted hair had a gradient effect, which perfectly complimented her outfit. This hair look was created by the hairstylist, Lorenzo Barcella. Naomi wore a perfectly winged eyeliner, warm blush on the cheeks and her lips were given the baby pink colour  outlined with a darker shade of pink. This makeup look was created by the MUA, Esther Edeme.

 Simona Tabasco

Simona Tabasco looked stunning in her Lanvin and Chopard red flowing gown. The makeup artist and L’Oréal Paris league expert Allan Avendaño created Simona’s makeup look. Allan claimed that his inspiration for creating Simona’s look was Audrey Hepburn. Simona was given feathered brows with subtle pink cheeks and baby pink lips. The hairstylist, Peter Lux created a high updo with bangs. The updo was tied in place using a black ribbon. This hairstyle was also created to add to her look’s Audrey Hepburn vibes.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa wore a beautiful one-shoulder, black Celine gown to Cannes. Dua’s makeup featured ’90s gunmetal smoky eyes and brown-nude lips. This makeup look was created by the MUA, Samantha Lau. For her hair, the celebrity hairstylist Rio Sreedharan created a messy and voluminous updo. This updo was paired with trimmed bangs. These bangs began at the temple and feathered out towards her jawline. This hairstyle mimicked the 90s supermodel style and was extremely bouncy, wispy. Her hairstyle was the highlight of her overall look.

Gemma Chan

Gemma Chan wore an elegant, white Louis Vuitton Dress to Cannes. She paired this dress with flirty eyelashes, glossy pink lips, soft pink cheeks and eye shadow. The makeup artist, Val Garland is to be thanked for Gemma’s makeup look. The hairstylist, Stephane Lancien gave a modern twist to the Audrey Hepburn updo to create Gemma’s hairstyle. Her messy updo was paired with choppy bangs which were tousled and were given a textured finish. Her hairstyle was very chic and added to the elegance of her outfit.

Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan wore multiple outfits to Cannes, but her monochrome Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit was the best! The Mumbai based MUA Tanvi Chemburkar did Sara’s makeup. She chose winged eyeliner, kohl eyes, rouged cheeks, a subtle eye shadow and rosy lips to go with Sara’s outfit. For her hair, the hairstylist, Sanky Evrus, created a classy, side-parted updo. This updo was inspired by the 60’s and it gave Sara a regal look. Some strands of her hair were left loose in the front to give her hairstyle a soft feel.
