Beauty Garage Professional, a leading homegrown brand in the haircare world, is dominating the salon industry with excellent performance shown across a wide range of products. In the time period from April – October 2024, they performed exceedingly well, with the K9 range being the top performer with 44% of sales, Shea Range followed suit with 22% of the overall sales, while Botoliss had 15% sales. Even the latest product in the portfolio, ScalpSense showed great results, contributing to 6% of sales.

In terms of zone-wise popularity, the top three contenders were K9, Shea range, and Botoliss. The zone-wise product performance shows the customer preferences in different areas. K9 was the most popular choice with the highest contribution in the Eastern region with 52%, Shea Range had 13% from the East and 27% from the Western parts of India, while Botoliss did well in the South at 21%. In the West, K9 was the clear winner with 35% sales, Shea was at 27%, while Botoliss was at 15%, and ScalpSense at 6%. In the Easter region, Botoliss was at 10% and  ScalpSense at 5%, which shows there is space for more market penetration.

In the South, K9 again was the winner accounting for 45% of sales, Shea stood at 25% while Botoliss was at 21%, and ScalpSense at 6%. In the North, K9 led with 45%, Shea was at 22%, Botoliss at 17%, and ScalpSense at 6%.

The dominance of K9 across all regions shows that customers are favouring high performance treatments that are suitable for all hair types. The Shea range, which is meant to provide nourishment and hydration of dry, damaged hair, did well in the West, that suggests people in the region are looking for more repair-focused treatments. Botoliss, which is meant to treat dry, frizzy hair and give them a sleek look, did well in the South, which indicates that people are demanding such advanced treatments due to humidity.
