The popular nail polish brand OPI has been owned by Coty since 2010. In a new development, it has appointed John Heffner as its new President and General Manager. Meanwhile, Founder George Schaeffer will continue to lead as CEO, while Suzi Weiss-Fischmann maintains her role as executive vice president and artistic director.
George Schaeffer was quoted, “We’re thrilled to have John join the OPI family, as the nail industry is absolutely booming. OPI has been experiencing double digit growth both domestically and internationally.”
OPI founder George Schaeffer will shift his focus to developing new products and expanding the brand’s global reach, building on its existing presence in over 100 countries. John Heffner, OPI’s newly appointed president and general manager, will oversee day-to-day operations at the company’s headquarters. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously held the same position at CND for 14 years.
