MediBuddy, a leading digital healthcare company in India, hosted the first physical ceremony for MediBuddy Wellness League (MWL)2024, giving rewards worth Rs 1.25 crore to corporate achievers and individual champions who are committed to improve health and wellness. This is the second edition of the awards ceremony and it aims to have a robust corporate employee engagement. This year saw extensive participation for both the corporate and individual categories.
The first event was held in 2024 under The MedBuddy Wellness League is a novel initiative that empowers people and ventures that prioritise wellbeing. Over 2.5 months, the league saw the wellness journeys of corporate employees through a gamified farmework which involved competitions. They earned points for each competition that included, nutrition, mental health, physical fitness, and sleep. Through this innovative approach MediBuddy helped people from the corporate world make lasting healthy habits that ensured a better quality of life.

According to Saibal Biswas, Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing, Partnerships, and PR at MediBuddy, the first-ever physical ceremony is an important step towards transforming corporate wellness. It helped bring together individuals and organisations to recognise the importance of employee health on a large scale. Also, using the gamified approach to create healthy habits has been a huge success. It has helped create lasting behavioural change and inspire people to prioritize their wellbeing.

In 2024, some of the corporate champions included Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Cisco Systems, and Tata Consultancy Services, amongst others.
