Zara, the apparel brand, has entered the hair products market with Zara Hair. It has launched two products to begin this journey, Glitter in Gold holiday hair set with two hair make-up SKUs priced at $50. The kit comes with12 oversize gold bobby pins and a gold comb. The Spanish retail chain has partnered with hairstylist Guido Palau to start Zara Hair.
Give Me Glitter is a hairspray with a hint of glitter to add that extra shine to the hair, while Give Me Gold is a gel to get the perfect slicked-back look. It can be applied subtly to give the hair an added lustre or layered thicker to give it a more dramatic appeal.
According to Guido Palau, Give Me Gold is like applying a highlighter and adding a shimmer over it and Give Me Glitter is a glitter spray that is extremely fine that it cannot be seen initially, but layering it gives the desired effect. Both these products are lightweight and do not make the hair look sticky or greasy.
Zara plans to launch a full range of hair products in early 2024.
