Tesco extends partnership with TerraCycle spin-off Loop for zero-waste shopping

Tesco, a leading UK retailer has extended its partnership with TerraCycle spin-off Loop, allowing purchase of more than 80 products in re-usable containers across the 10 stores, including food and drink, personal care, beauty, and household cleaning products. The products will be available in durable, waste-free packaging that can be returned, for it to be cleaned and reused. Every product will have a EUR 0.23 deposit that will be refunded through an app once the package was returned. This is the second-phase of the pilot project that was started in July 2020 where Tesco and Loop offered its UK customers some reusable products online that could be returned through a home pickup service.
