February 25, 2022: Retailer Shoppers Stop has opened its first standalone beauty store, SS Beauty in Malad, Mumbai. While the retailer has always been focused on beauty with a dedicated section in all their 80 stores, it has set its sights on the beauty business with this launch. It will launch one more store in Mumbai, and one in Ludhiana by March 2022, and 12 more in cities like Delhi and Kolkata in the new financial year.
The 2000 sq.ft. Malad store has trained beauty advisors to assist customers on beauty and makeup products and retails more than 200 brands including Kora, Caudalie, Jeffree to Star Cosmetics and Bobbi Brown. Plans include a dedicated website and app for SS Beauty.
