Procter & Gamble (P&G) has announced that Shailesh Jejurikar will be the global Chief Operating Officer from October 2021, making him the first Indian to do so. He now joins a growing band of Indians heading global companies. The 54-year-old Mumbai-born Shailesh joined P&G India in 1989 and charted a successful career which saw him in senior positions in India and across the globe.
