Sally Hansen, one of the biggest nail paint brands, has continued its collaboration with GLAAD, a non-profit queer advocacy group, and released a new line of Pride-themed nail polishes. This year’s line includes 11 metallic shades of the Progress Pride flag and three Salon Effects Perfect Manicure designs representing the Trans, Bi, and Pride flags.
This is not the first time Sally Hansen has collaborated with GLAAD for Pride Month. These collaborations have been a staple of the nail care market since 2019, when Sally Hansen first collaborated with GLAAD.
The Sally Hansen nail polishes in the GLAAD collaboration line are their Insta-Dri formula, known as the number one quick drying polish in the United States. The nail polish claims to dry just one minute after application. The line will also feature their ready-to-wear artificial nails which replicate salon-like extensions right at home. The nail polishes in this line include titles like A Thing Called Love (red), Just Like Fire (orange), and Bee Yourself (yellow). Their Salon-Perfect Manicure Designs are Bi Tips, Queer Tips, and Trans Tips.
On top of their nail line, Sally Hansen has also committed to a substantial donation to GLAAD every year. To date, Sally Hansen and other Coty-owned brands have donated over $600,000 to GLAAD to support their work in the field of LGBTQ+ advocacy.
