Revlon, a leading beauty and cosmetics brand in India, is all set to expand with a target to double its business to Rs. 400 crores in this fiscal year. It also plans to increase its offline network reach, doubling its outlets from 300 to 600 and its presence in departmental stores from 1,000 to 4,000 in the next 2-3 years. The brand plans to make its social media presence more robust, especially on portals like Instagram. It is also thinking of introducing Revlon-branded perfumes as part of this expansion plan.
With this strategic expansion plan, Revlon endeavours to position itself favourably in the highly competitive beauty market. According to Revlon Executive Director, Meghna Modi, Revlon is looking at aggressive retail expansion in India to ride over the growth spurt in the beauty and cosmetics sector thanks to the millennial generation.
