Revlon India plans to expand into the mass market segment with the launch of affordable cosmetics and hair care product range. This move will help them attain a 40% yearly growth from 2023.
All the hair colouring products in this range will be launched by mid-2023 and be priced under Rs 200 so as to make it affordable for low income consumers. The brand also plans to expand the cosmetics brand Street Wear Cosmetics meant for the youth and will launch face and eye products in a few months.
According to Revlon India’s operator U.K. Modi Group Chairman U, K. Modi, the premium market is niche and hence may not get as much traction and growth. To be able to expand exponentially, the brand will have to reach the masses of the country. This is the next growth phase for Revlon. In fact, the brand intends to use its popularity as an international cosmetics company to gain customers in the mass segment.
