RAS, a farm-to-face skincare and personal, D2C hygiene company, has raised Rs. 1.5 million funding from Green Frontier Capital (GFC). The company is on its way to success with a 300% annual growth since its inception in 2017. The new funding will be used to increase the product offerings and expansion in the market. For the same reason, the startup is hiring a lot of people in its Raipur and Mumbai offices.
Incepted in 2017, RAS is based out of Chhattisgarh and started by Sangeeta Jain and her two daughters, Suramya Jain and Subhika Jain. The company makes personal care products and cosmetics from natural ingredients. According to Suramya Jain, all the ingredients for the products are grown organically from farms or bought from local farmers. The ingredients undergo thorough research and are made in their DSIR-approved R&D facility, and manufactured in a government-approved facility.
