The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) in Qatar has illustrated the new rights of customers while visiting barber shops and salons. MoCI states that customers have the right to check the validity of items in beauty salons and also the pricing of services before taking any service. Their customs, religious values, and traditions also need to be respected.
As per the ministry, customers can keep the transaction bill that will give them the requisite compensation as well as return defective products, and find out future pricing of services and products.
In addition, barber shops and salons must also give the data of the services and products offered, their characteristics, features, and prices.
