Purplle, India’s top beauty e-commerce portal, saw a 300% rise in new registrations during their online beauty sale in August. The festival was organized between August 4 and August 8, with more than 15,000 beauty products available at three time higher discounts. The highest rise was seen in the number of new users taking up Elite Membership.

About 3/4th of the order volumes came from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Makeup and skincare segments saw maximum monthly hike in orders, increasing by 472% and 282%, respectively.

The brands on sale included Stay Quirky, Good Vibes, Alps Goodness, NY Bae along with global brands like The Face Shop, Maybelline NY, L’Oréal Paris, and many others.
