Plum, a local 100% vegan, PETA certified beauty brand, has opened its first exclusive retail store in Mumbai at the R-City Mall. With this new store it aims to expand its reach in India, with plans to open over 50 such stores in India by 2023.
Plum launched in India in 2014 with an online presence and in just a few years it expanded to more than 225 towns and cities in India with more than 750 assisted retail stores and over 10,000 unassisted retail shops.
Speaking about the brand’s accomplishments, Mr. Shankar Prasad, CEO & Founder, Plum said that online stores are doing well all over the world but they do not give a complete experience to customers. Hence, the company decided to offer a human element to its products through exclusive Plum outlets that would add to the joy of shopping.
