According to a study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), two symptomatic hair stylists with confirmed COVID-19 did not infect nearly 140 clients at a salon in Springfield, Missouri. Both, the stylists and the clients wore masks (cloth masks or surgical masks or N95 respirators) during their interactions. Among 139 clients, 67 who took the test were found to be negative, and those who refused to take the test did not report any symptoms over the next 14 days. As per the study, adopting policies that encouraging face coverings in public places will reduce the spread of the virus.
