L’Oréal takes over Takami Co.

L’Oréal is acquiring Takami Co., a premium Japanese skincare company. Dr. Hiroshi Takami owns the brand and has two dermatological clinics in Tokyo. The famous skin-care brand is an expert on peeling and its most popular product is a Skin Peel Pre-Serum known as ‘The Little Blue Bottle’ by their Asian customers. The brand is well known in Japan, China and Asia.

L’Oréal has revamped its long-term brand licensing agreement with Doctor Takami. It has also signed a collaboration deal with the Takami clinics. The deal should be complete within two weeks.
