French beauty giant L’Oreal has relaunched the luxury beauty brand Lancome in India after seeing a rising demand in high-end luxury products in the beauty and personal care segments. According to Rachit Mathur, General Manager, luxury products division L’Oréal India, today consumers are more conscious about the products they use and have disposable income to spend on luxury, boosting the demand for such product lines. Lancome will sell makeup, fragrances, and skincare products meeting the expectations of consumers. Its products will be exclusively available at Sephora online as well as in 17 stores across 8 cities. The products will be promoted through ad campaigns, point of sale programs, and influencer engagements.
