Kumar Venkatasubramanian will become the new Chief Executive Officer of Procter & Gamble India from 1 May 2024. He will take over from LV Vaidyanathan, who worked with the company for 28 years.

According to Kumar Venkatasubramanian, it is a great time to head the P&G business in the country as India is growing fast with consistent results. Now it will be pivotal to focus on an integrated growth strategy to deliver continuous results. The brand will concentrate on daily-use product portfolio where performance propels the brand choice. They will improve the strategy– product, package, value, brand communication, and retail execution. Stanislav Vecera, P&G President, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa, added that Kumar Venkatasubramanian is the ideal choice to spearhead the brand’s operations in India as he has been with P&G for over two decades and been an integral part of its growth story.

 

Kumar Venkatasubramanian is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta and started working with P&G in 2000 in the sales team. Through these 24 years, he has worked across different roles within the organisation in sales. Currently, he is the CEO of P&G business in Australia and New Zealand.
